"I had Phill as my driving instructor for a manual car for 5 months, practicing around Medway. Then doing my driving test in Gillingham.
I could not recommend him more. He is very patient and helps students to understand why road safety is important for everyone.
he provided me with a booklet which we filled out at the beginning and end of every lesson as a checklist, which helped to keep track of my progress.
I always felt very safe in the car with Phill. He is an excellent teacher which is proved as I got no minors on my first and only test"

My daughter started manual lessons in December 2025 and was ready for her test by April.
From the very beginning, Phill put her at ease and communicated clearly, which really helped build her confidence.
He was very reliable, always sending messages on the morning of lessons and was flexible with lesson lengths to suit her needs as she progressed .
One thing we particularly appreciated was how honest and professional he was in letting us know when he felt she was ready for her test.
A standout feature of his teaching was the pre-printed mini binder he provided. They updated it together after each lesson, which allowed her to track her progress, understand what to to expect next and even have input into what she wanted to focus on. It made the whole learning process feel structured and empowering.

"When I first started driving. Phill was always calm and friendly when I was absolutely terrified. I was so nervous, it took me four lessons to get out of first gear, but Phill Helped me through it all and I will always be grateful for the help and confidence he gave me. "I would recommend Phill as a driving instructor as he not only teaches you to drive properly, he also teaches you a mindset. He teaches you how to think as a driver and provides a perspective which helps you navigate situations. Some instructors teach you how to pass but Phill teaches you how to drive and I have managed to pass first time with him"
